Toy, Isn't this the same judge who was admonished by the appeals court for the way he handled previous matters before him?

Regards,
Bob

Mr. ToySoldier,

<<After the judge snikkered and told the MSFT lawyers that it highly unlikely MSFT's filing will be successful, the judge will at least hear it.>>

I feel the judge did that because it's customary to hear the filing. The judge can snikker all he wants but I think the judge is mad at the appeals court for admonishing him. Microsoft and the judge knows this case will end up in the appeals court and the appeals court implied they will reverse the judges decision in a heartbeat just like they did his previous decision.

<<And it wont be good for MSFT.>>

The only thing that matters is the courts decision, whatever and whenever it is render. Your opinion as well as others, is worthless.

Thank You

JK

I believe that ending this case will be inherently good for Microsoft, regardless of the specific decisions, as long as the decisions are definitive.

I believe that having a definitive and concrete decision to build future practices and product changes on will be good for Microsoft. Living in flux, wondering and second-guessing the DOJ, and being at risk from new interpretation of old rules after you did something is bad for Microsoft.
