At least the Mavericks pretend to be restructuring.
I'm from St. Louis. The Rams don't even pretend to be in
a building season. That's because their real business is
counting MONEY!! Lots and lots of money.

LT, I went to a Mavericks game when I lived in Dallas back in 1983. I sat right behind Bunker Hunt, who was wearing a balloon animal around his head. The Mavs played like they were wearing a balloon animal over their eyes. -g- The biggest crowd reaction of the night was when they mentioned that the Denver Nuggets and Kiki Van De Wehe (sp) were coming to town. That brought on a bunch of boos from the crowd. As a new Dallasite, I didn't get it until somebody told me that Kiki had told the Mavs that if they drafted him, he was going to Europe to play. Smart boy not to go to the Mavs. Not too bright to go to the nuggets, though. -g-

BTW, didn't Kiki once sing a duet with Elton John. He looked pretty good in that video. -vbg-
