MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 7, 1998--(OTC BB:GLOW.O - news) Global Games Corp. reported today that the Island Sports Book and Casino of Dominica has informed Global Games that its Internet web site at Islandgaming.net will be up and operational Monday, August 10. Island Sports Book and Casino has also informed Global Games that its full betting sports book will be accepting wagers on all major sports via phone using credit cards. For those wishing to place wagers online, secure online wagering software is being provided by Global Games and will be available next week. UPDATE ON INTERNET GAMING CORP. OF DOMINICA Pursuant to Global Games' license agreement with Internet Gaming Corp. (IGC) of Dominica, the site will be transferred to Dominica next week. The beta test conducted by Global Games for vegas-live.com is complete. The beta test resulted in programming improvements and numerous enhancements that will increase the efficiency and enjoyment of the game. Global Games originally indicated these sites would be transferred by August 10, but due to additional telephone line installations and Internet registration delays, it is now anticipated that the gaming site will be up and running online by the end of next week.
