Michele,

The fact that MANU is listed as one of your favorite stocks SPEAKS VOLUMES about the quality of your judgement (the stock lost 65% of its value in less than 2 months).

Sorry about bringing this up....just observing objectively.

Interesting views from your side of the fence. Do you believe ERP is driven by the y2k or that was just an excuse to go ahead and buy ERP now versus waiting. In other words, for those companies that have already solved the y2k problems is ERP something they will buy in the future? Any ideas what % of large companies have tackled the problem?

As I stated, youropinion has been duly noted. I think your "suspicions" fly in the face of logic and projections made by the company, but of course you are entitled to believe what you wish. Time will tell whether your suspicions were warranted. I think that about covers it from my perspective.

Hmm not sure why you are asking this. I guess I would say that I don't have any concerns about Sap stock specifically, although I have some concerns about enterprise sw as a whole, which might cause the new emerging players (Crossworlds, Ariba etc) to delay their IPO etc. Its my business and I try to keep up.

I've always respected your opinions on enterprise software and I hope to see some of the same insight on this thread. There are those of us out here who gain much more from differing viewpoints than from the usual bull cheerleading sessions that are so prevalent on this and other threads.

Do the people on this thread only want to hear good news even if it is suspect?

Absolutely not. I hope the longs on this thread will keep the emotion out of the discussion and try to objectively discuss both the constantly evolving market conditions and the company's strategies to compete.
