Bob, I have read the Old Testament. However I have also read the New Testament. Christ taught us to judge not lest ye be judged, let he who is without sin cast the first stone and if your enemy strikes you on the cheek turn to him your other cheek. Christ was the fulfillment of the prophecy of the Old Testament and taught that He was the path to God. Why then do so many Christians then prefer the Old Testaments prescription of an eye for an eye to the Christ's message? This has always puzzled me. Henry
