in many ways japan continues cutting its own throat. it may be just a matter of time before s.k. defaults. that will force japan to write off those loans. I just don't see how s.k. can pull out of this mess with the sorry state of its exports and no capital to import raw materials. the amount of their debt is mind boggling. a default may be the only way out.
p.s. I hear that japan is desperately trying to unload real estate in l.a. Buy high, sell low.
