Hi paul, this is the story. I have a TVM Low Radiation 4A+ monitor. I'm only able to get 256 colour or worse to work on it. If I set it for 16 bit high colour or 32 bit true colour the screen jumbles & then i have to fiddle around in safe mode to reset it to 256 so i can see again.I've tried using a number of the various monitor type & adapter type settings that come with win95 but to no avail. I told this to the TVM service technician and he said it's probably the video card because that monitor with those win95 settings should produce unlimited colour. He said the settings on the card are only allowing 256 colour to get thru to the monitor. That's why I'm wondering how I can find out the make of my video card and how I can change its settings if at all possible. Do you know of any windows or dos command that would provide this information?

thanks, keetmon
