My guess is that management believes the stock is trading way to low and someone might try a low ball takeover. Maybe, that is the reason that they did it today instead of the stockholders meeting back in May. The price was higher than.

Wiseowl -- perhaps bullish in the long run (as an expression of management confidence in the company's prospects and as an expression of management's judgment that the stock is undervalued), but a negative for anyone who bought stock on the hope of an imminent buyout.
