Selloff on IPO is likely. By any measure, this week's runup is based on expectation of IPO. Not to worry. CMGI will be back up soon.

Craig, I will probably get jumped on for this prediction, however, sense you ask me for one, here it is.
I feel Softbank is behind the E-Trade situation that has allowed shares of GCTY to go to their customers. The Japanese are very good at momentum investing as you can see from their experience in years past. I'm not saying that - that is a good way to build a sound economy, however, if you want stocks to go up for no good reason, I guess you could learn a lot from the Japanese.
It has been said that this "GCTY" IPO is going to be a litmus test for "inetrnet stocks" and especially "internet" IPOs.
Goldman Sacks has a lot to gain from this thing exploding forward. Think about what a strong performance could do for their own IPO.
This IPO is huge. So, I will predict that CMGI will trade at $138 by the end of next week. If this GCTY IPO goes to the moon, everyone that is looking at CMGI will say to themselves, ....my god how much money could this company make in the next 3 years with the connections they have.
A strong performance for GCTY will give GCTY the money it needs to get somewhere in this internet world. That is just what people like Bill Gates want to see happen. It is a self fulfilling thing. All this ties together in a huge web (no pun intended) and it will all go to the moon if the CMGI's of the world have anything to say about it.
