Jim, It certainly would be unprofessional,childish and unethical for someone connected with Web Street Securities or Web Street Financial Group to log on here and pretend to be a disinterested (objective) customer. If you or anyone else knows of other stock discussion sites where there is discussion of the quality of the discount brokerage houses, do let me know. I wouldn't want to omit any interested people who might want to know about my experience with Web Street. I will also include Jon R's remarks, so everyone can get a full picture of the quality of this firm. Linda

News Flash... This is the first time I checked my Web Street account since I talked with Sherri Smith on Wednesday. She'd promised me she was reversing the charges for the research fees. That has not been done. She also said she would call back by this afternoon. That has not been done. Now, I know people get busy and get behind, so I've left a message about these matters on her voice mail. I wouldn't be surprised, since I now think i'm dealing with a back ally hoodlum rather than a brokerage firm, if my call were never returned and no explanation were provided for these additional misrepresentations on the part of Web Street. I'm starting to think about reporting some of this to the regulatory agencies. This has achieved a level of malice, and is beyond their customary ineptitude. Linda
