Gorak, You bet I will tell everyone about the $100 credit. It will benefit SI, and it is concrete proof of the unprofessional behavior of Web Street Securities. Most people won't open a new brokerage account for a $100 commission credit. It's a hassle to do it and costs far more if the firm turns out to be no good. It cost me so much time to deal with their problems! If I'd read this thread and Jon Rosenberg had posted an apology to the offended customer, I might have opened an account though. That's the difference between good customer service and disdain for customers such as evidenced by Jon Rosenberg. Do you have sites you'd like to recommend to me? Linda
