My mother has never been able to abide rock and roll but years ago
she happened to be around while I had a Tom Petty tape on and she heard a couple of his more sarcastic, stinging ex-love songs and nodded her head in admiration and said "I like that boy's attitude."

The baddest, brattiest boy on the block that no other mothers could stand was always her favorite. That is of course if they were kind to animals and showed her the utmost of respect, which never seemed to be a problem.

dreamboats.. I'm drawing a blank. Oh yeah.. Queen Latifa and that guy that plays the writer in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil."

I would expect nothing less of you!!! That's a great story. I had the same reaction to Patrick Sweazy! Complete turn-on in Dirty Dancing and then I heard him on a talk show and he was trying to be very intellectual and profound and it was so high school or something. Embarrassing.
