A great day in the patch, Slider. It's wonderful to see the bleeding stop with a flurry!

With respect to your questioning why ESV, MDCO, EVI (et al) did better today then CXIPY or RIG, I think it's simply a matter of the discounts offered by the former group.

Yesterday, ESV closed 73% below it's 52 week high. MDCO was 70% lower and EVI was 67% lower.

CXIPY was only down 43% and RIG 42% off of it's 52 week highs.

Bargain hunters were scooping up the down trodden!

BTW, glad to see your BDI back over 5.

Good luck. Have a great weekend!

Michael

Oil service up two days in a row, for no good reason. I'm in!
I covered a couple shorts today, and jumped in with everything
I have(and it ain't much anymore).

Bought VRC, RIG, OMNI(thanks Slider), CDG, FLC and BDI in addition
to smaller positions in RDC, NE, ESV, and UTI. I may do a little
fine tuning, but I'm hoping to be able to hold for a while. This
trading is driving me nuts.

This is a sure sign we have bottomed in this sector...

Therefore I re-openned up my Fidelity Select Energy Service Fund this afternoon with a mild sized position.
