and thank you, LBell, and others who have posted here (and to me privately) with an open mind For months now I have been investigating a company with historical links to the Russian "mafiya." It was a word search of that entity, YBM Magnex, that brought me to this particular SI thread. The business environment in Russia and the former Soviet Union today is bizarre, to say the least, and poses unique risks. The Turbodyne thread, it's clear, is quite interesting aside from the references here to YBM. I don't often encounter genuine investors/speculators who don't want to know about the background of the companies in which they are trading or who don't want to be aware of the public company track record of any particular principal. It may happen that some market players prefer to be in the dark, but usually there's a reason people object to open discussion. The politics of shorts vs. longs can be witnessed on so many SI threads that it becomes of little interest. The TRBD thread, while exhibiting some of the low-level personal insults and bullying seen elsewhere, does also show a fairly healthy breadth of opinion. So, I am sure between you all, you can weigh the data put forward and proceed to further understanding of this particular issuer. Unfortunately, not everyone has ready access to, or possesses a facility with, the helpful on-line data-bases for carrying out an effective due diligence on junior stocks and their principals. In this case, it may be possible to short-circuit one part of the research process by having any TRBD threader who is on close terms with Turbodyne management or IR personnel forward the list of past and present Leon Nowek-directed companies to Nowek for his comment. After Nowek goes on the record explaining his management role with Northfork and the other deals and their operational history, then you can match his words against the public record and decide how it all fits together. Similarly, someone can ask management or the IR reps to go on the record and explain, in detail, the identity of any and all principals of the "TransBusiness Group of Moscow", and the details of any arrangements, guarantees, commitments etc. entered into in connection with the "Purchase Order for $30.675M" that's been touted by Turbodyne. There's some interesting business done in Moscow, even by the city's mayor, Yuri Luzhkov, so with talk of grants and funding from organizations including the World Bank, Turbodyne-watchers may find this particular deal quite fascinating. I'm not gonna say, "I'm outta here", in case that's misinterpreted, but I have said all I want to say for now on TRBD. I've got the Russian mob to finish studying and then it's time for a holiday! Best wishes to all, Adrian du Plessis
