Cambior not in a hurry
Hi Morrie, Cambior has never been in a hurry ever since the first drill program failed to find a large open pit VMS deposit to the north of the old mine site back in December 1996.
The slow pace and amount of drilling has made this an uninspiring story to date for most speculators.
What continues to be interesting is the extremely high metal grades depending where the drill intersects the zone. 18grams gold, 119grams silver, 14% copper and 12% zinc all from different holes and over good mining widths.
What is not yet known, is this a separate lens or a high grade leakage from a larger system yet to be found. This high grade zone does seem to be the conduit for the open pit and this would suggest that something bigger may be near by. Even one of Deans elephants !!
What is clear, is that three hole drill programs will not excite the market place under the current market conditions.
So now it's two holes into the high grade system and one shot at an elephant. Elephants are known to frequent Rhyolite domes which this whole structure is lying on. So maybe they might just hit a snoozing elephant. It would be nice to see Cambior take a full box of bullets and go on a safari here. But I guess to many bullets are needed to put the Alberta diamond stocks out of their misery and it looks like several will be needed to do the same for the SVB boy's.
