Dr. jay as volume increases market makers short out more and more stock in hopes of stomping out any rally. It is the way that they can attempt to shake out weak hands and buy stock back from the public cheaper than you paid for it from them. Patience is the key. Even the market makers have a pain threshold- when it is hit they move there prices up. Thus forcing a rally that feeds upon itself. Increases in volume almost ALWAYS signals an up movement in price. Especially when the stock is almost at the bottom of its trading range. Much the situation that aret is in right now. As always wishing the best to all..................RON
