Sorry it took me a while to respond. I have been out of town. I do not have a listing of previous Dow signals. However, there is usually a rally after the initial decline of a bear market. I am not sure that is what we are in. It could simply be a correction. For example, I keep a 25-day moving sum of the net of advances and declines on the NYSE. After the 1987 decline, the reading was -11,700. I cannot remember any reading being lower. I think I checked back in 1973 also. Today's reading is -11,300. That needs to be worked off in my opinion.

Gotta go.
