Jannie:

My limited knowledge of P&F is enormous compared to my ability to grasp this grubbing.

Why is a post like 5533 worth having? Not that I'm trying to defend Tommy necessarily<g>, but I didn't realize that such a number was special in this way. 5000 is more obvious.

Can you enlighten me please. The last place I want to end up is on the grubbers' thread or your bad side!!<VBG>

IMHO, the number isn't near as important as the message. Tom's strategy is, of couse, brilliant. Since April/May, when the NYSEBP reversed and Tom said go on defense, I've been struggling at how, for myself, would I do that. I won't short and am/was chicken to do options. So, I went to cash.

There is only one thing wrong with Tom's strategy, that I can see . .

One must be holding an equity that others will want to be buying at the time!!!

It is essentual! Example: I was in the oil patch in May!!! (Who wanted to buy calls in the oil patch???)

There again, if I had been following P&F, I wouldn't have been in the patch to begin with :-(

So, now I'm ready for a new beginning. Thank you Tom and Jan.
