Yes Penni, that's about the way I feel about it too. We have decided against being foster parents. At first we thought it would be a great way to give a loving home to a small child who had been given a tough start in life, but as we learned more and more, the risks seemed too great. Apparently, a rather large percentage of kids in the system have been sexual abused. I just couldn't live with myself if a seven or eight year old, acted out toward my daughter what had happened to them. It was a tough decision, but it seemed right for us with the kids at this age. Not to mention the time I never seem to have enough of. Michael
