yup-- sounds like a lot of these techy businesses in Silly Valley.
A lot of the bankrupties in CA are from people in huge houses in Southern California that file Ch 11 so they don't have to pay for their mortgage. Pretty sad.
BTW you might want to read about the advance/decline diagnostics and market commentary on S&P's website- personalwealth.com
it thinks we haven't seen the bottom of the selloff yet, and the market is rotating into the Russell index.
RVT tries to benchmark its performance against the S&P smallcap index and trades as a stock, so you might take a look if you want to trade a move up in the smallcaps and Russell.

Interesting story, Jim. Reminds me of the old saw, "If you owe the bank a thousand and can't pay, YOU have a problem; if you owe the bank 10 million and can't pay, the BANK has a problem."

I reckon it's a matter of perspective.
