Though HP still has the biggest marker share in UNIX
server, but HP's growth in UNIX server is also much
slower than SUN, COMPAQ based on you guy's post.
What really matter to the stock price is the future
growth, isn't it.

Does HP has good new model? As far as I know, SUN's high
end server has extremely high profit margin (more than 50%,
which is as profitable as CSCO's router) and could enjoy
less competition from the potential NT 5.0.

SUN has this high-end server and Java; IBM has strong
service branch and new mainframe model. Thus, they
all enjoy good multiples. After reading all the posts
here, it seems no one is identifying any "newness" from
HP. Do I miss anything?

If you do a technical analysis on HP's stock price, you just
don't see any bottoming (no increase volume in any reversal
day and volume pick up in every down day). Risky stock.

Wish all of you good trading/investing.
