Eddie, I don't know what it would take to get Olympic sponsorship.

I do think IBM did a very poor job in the past. The company that comes in and outperforms IBM will look very good to the business community worldwide.

Of course, no company should go near it if they can't deliver!

Compaq might have some major problems as well.
Tandem could do it easily but I doubt if the PR would be worth it for them, they already have pretty compelling bragging rights at the tippy-top of the heap. Digital also could play there. Classic CPQ could not, and IMHO Dell could not. It is a big hard expensive problem.
