<<Does anyone if Eudora is actually the most widely used?>>

I don't know for sure but I think I've got the info somewhere in a trade rag, if I get a chance to look for it in a timely manner. Numbers should be readily available someplace on the web.

I'd be surprised if Eudora is the most widely used of all e-mail software if one is considering e-mail applications across the board. I would expect to see Microsoft Outlook at the top on a simply "installed" basis, since it is bundled free with every copy of Windows 95. Microsoft Mail is also installed widely in conjunction with Microsoft Office suites; especially in commercial (Dilbert-style) environments.

Eudora is definitely better, IMO, and probably is the most widely used of all e-mail software for after-market e-mail installations.

Funny what a few carefully selected words can do. "Most widely used"? How is that determined with precision? ; )
