Hi George,

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I'm seeing bits and pieces, here and there, that suggest S3 is building up an inventory of Savage chips and is getting ready to ship "significant quantities". With two months until the end of the quarter, it seems to me that there should be a good chance to add a fair amount of revenue with the new product. With the cost cuts they pulled off last Q, it wouldn't take much to come up with a surprise.

The thing I can't figure out is the way they couldn't wait to get Rev. A into the hands of anyone willing to do a review, but they apparently have Rev. B available now, and no one has seen it. Are they so ashamed of it that they don't want anyone to see it before they can sell their mistakes, or are they looking to blow everyone away with amazement on how much better it is than Rev. A? It seems to me that they would want to get a ton of rave reviews ahead of the ship date. The marketing strategy escapes me. It's almost as if they are intentionally trying to keep good news at a minimum to depress the stock price. Supposedly, we won't see any OEM design win announcements until the product actually ships. Toward the end of the month?

Everyone buying SIII this week has been paying cash and the majority of the margin call selling should be over by Monday. I wouldn't be surprised to see a sharp recovery starting Tuesday. The market seems to be favoring the techs again. We'll see.

Regards,

Don
