Excellent choice, DGIV! NMSS Fusion was named 1997 Product of the Year for IP telephony gateways by Computer Telephony magazine!

Here is a quote from the magazine:

"Natural MicroSystems' Fusion specialized DSP cards are the current rage in IP telephony. NMS hasn't seen anything like it. Customers are pouncing on these resources for their solid voice quality in the sizzling IP telephony application market. . . . Natural MicroSystems' Fusion boards are the hottest thing in IP telephony componentry." (Computer Telephony, December 1997, page 59)

And here is a quote from a European trade pub that named Fusion 1997's most innovative product:

"Fusion, almost uniquely, represents a real paradigm shift. It stands head and shoulders above other products and provides a total solution to meet the needs of telcos and users alike. We all feel that it will have a significant and far reaching impact on the telephony marketplace . . . "

NMSS is a tremendous partner for DGIV. They are a 15-year old company that was named by Forbes as one of the top 100 dynamic companies in terms of growth, partnerships, and marketing expertise. They were the first company to provide a Digital Signal Processing product for PCs; they are state-of-the-art in industry standards -- in fact, they help write the standards -- and they are ISO9002 qualified for quality.

Furthermore, their products are already in 40 countries, so they are well tested and supported.

Excellent choice! Just as Macromedia's Shockwave was the state-of-the-art choice for DGIV's new website, so is Fusion the state-of-the-art choice for the IntraVoice gateways.

As I commented a few weeks ago, DGIV is not in the business of selling boxes. To all of those who questioned what standards they supported, I replied that they currently support H.323, but if standards evolve they will either evolve themselves or get whatever boxes they need from whoever is designing to the latest standards.

DGIV's strength is in establishing partnerships with regional telcos and providing service through cheaper IP based solutions. That's where the money is.

RM,
This is a classic case of letting the CEO and staff alone, not demanding PRs every other day, bombardment with calls and E-mails. I know of no other board which has been so patient and trusting, save for the necessary evils seen on every board.
In at $.48 and clutching tightly
Warm Regards,
Scottoo
Isn't it odd that many "old timers" have returned at such a fortuitous moment??!!Haha
