Trader Dave, It was a good idea to start a thread featuring the combined company. I started the Hyperion thread and it never really generated that much interest.

I have a full position in Hyperion and last week's lows caught my attention. I was looking to buy Aug 25 calls but waited because the general market was acting so poorly. Of course the wait caused me to miss a nice gain. Too bad there isn't an indicator that pops up and says "This is the bottom". <g> By the way I know a few investors who hadn't owned Hyperion, buy into the stock because of its price drop. I feel that Friday's gains were the result of recognition that the selling was overdone and bargain hunters wanted in once the price stopped falling and reversed itself.

Is the Goldman analyst covering the Hyperion side Rich Sherlund?

A couple more weeks and the promoting begins. Let's hope for additional gains.

Regards,
Bob
