DT,

There are several definitions of hype in my dictionary, but the one that fits this particular situation:

To publicize, promote, or exploit by touting.

Touting is defined many ways also, but the one that fits:

To solicit customers, votes, or patronage.

On your first day on SI, it is my humble opinion that what you were doing was "hype". There were others that expressed the same opinion.

Some took you up on your offer, did their own research, and joined you.

I did not, wishing to wait for a few days and watch the action.

My message was simply my thoughts on the posts.

Anyone is free to review my posts. I have never hyped any issue, whether long or short.

As stated previously, I meant nothing personal, and this will be my last public post on the subject.

Have fun,
Phil

OFF TOPIC

Mark, It's a pity that people are so emotional, isn't it? Your understanding of the post , on the other side, may be completely different from the original idea of the author. To illustrate that:

"A dog is a dog NO MATTER how you look at it, it is still a dog. So, No matter who posts it, or how long this poster is on SI, IT IS STILL A DOG :)"

Message 5446068

"Can you please explain what you are trying to say ?

Who are you referring to? Is it me you are referring to?"

Same link, my friend, same link...
SI is strange world...

So, lets leave our emotions for our friends, testosterone for our girl-friends, and go back to stocks.

"So, why not research the topic and post why or why not one should short or long or even stay out of a stock."
I did, and I still hope that you may wish to answer 10 questions I have posted.

Regarding hype... Unfortunately, your opinion on another topic may be very well appl. here:
"After all, isn't this what SI is all about it?? "

Have a nice weekend.

PS: Some people are taking life, including it's electronic forms, too seriously. I hope there is no one like that on this thread...today...

When you show up, post a whole lot of messages saying nothing but "this one is going down" and provide little or no elaboration for why you believe that, one tends to see that as blind hype.

State your reasons in a well-reasoned way and you'll get my attention.

No interest in INCL either way.
