RB:

What sort of questions elicit their defensive reaction?

Equity value has suffered over the last few months, support levels have broken, and you are dead on, there should be some feedback to those of us involved. When the stock holders become the enemy something is not kosher.

If your read of arrogance is a correct, that is usually a sign you have asked the right/wrong questions and may be threatening. Not good!

Ciao, Ted

RBlatch,

I am surprised that you think Cortex does
not have good PR. In my opinion, they were
overdoing it. There was a while when it
seemed I got a letter from them every month
about developments. Personally, I wish they
would just save the money and work faster.

You might consider calling or writing Robin,
the IR person at Cortex. She replied to my
E*mail promptly, and was very nice and infor-
mative. As for the "arrogance" you felt, it
may just be the normal Ph.D. sort of thing.
Their top scientists came from the U.C. sys-
tem and I can tell you that it is normal
behavior as far as I can tell (I work in the
U.C. system). I have met Gary Rodgers myself
when he was here at U.C.S.B. and he seemed
like a really decent guy.

At any rate, lets hope for the best.
