This nonsense of using estimates for the census is also a ploy to redistrict themselves back into a majority. Everyone should make sure their representatives know that all of us want an actual count of the citizens as provided for in the Constitution. It really seems to me that in the information age that we live in today, the census should be easier than ever to carry out. Any other statement to the contrary is insulting. They sure as heck could carry it out in the 18th century and didn't need estimates then. After all, haven't all of us been assigned our own government property number identifier--er...excuse me, I meant social security number.

By the way Alan Keyes ran for Republican Party Presidential Nomination in 1996 I believe. Like Clarence Thomas, he was roundly criticized for not having the views that were considered appropriate by his "owner',the Democratic Party.
