earlie...in your opinion, what will returning treasuries do to the mighty dollar? IMO, the achillies heal of our economy has been the escalating debt, both national & private.

Earlie, I know the technique well. I worked for a guy who had a bank sell out all his assets to cover a loan. Of course, it was a bit tougher call than Simplot. My boss got all his assets sold and then got hauled away to prison for bank fraud. Which used to be a popular sport here in Texas when we still had locally owned banks. <G> And the real funny thing is, he was a heck of a nice guy and I still like him. To this day, I don't think he thought he did anything wrong. MB
