Hi Gabe,

..Antares appears to be doing all the right things to turn Antares from a junior exploration company into a mid-sized producer..

Your'e kidding, the odds of this happening are probably 1 in 1000 I actually reviewed these odds in a study some years ago. In other words this would take a great deal of faith to be believable.

I certainly hope they overcome the overwhelming odds as I am a shareholder but at the same time am not holding my breath.

regards, Terence Mitchell

Sorry, I answered all the PMs and posts I could in the time available.

When you ask 'how would you respond', you are asking me what would I do if I was in Antares' place, right?

Well, I wouldn't be in Antares' place. If I ran a publicly traded company, I would post regularly to its SI thread. And in no uncertain terms, either - plain talk. Of course I would have always to guard against accusations of selective disclosure and all that bullshit, but that's not so hard and anyway I think before long the securities commisions will recognise that an SI post is a public release.

And when somebody like john comes along mouthing it up, I would largely ignore his rant, dismiss it as hyperbole, and refrain from giving it credibility by an overly panicked defensive reaction. But of course, if some flash of inspiration brought a witticism to mind, I would not hesitate to rip him up one side and down the other, if I thought I could get a giggle from the audience at the same time as making my point.

Antares clearly has an account, clearly monitors this thread, clearly takes every word to heart. But they choose not to contribute in anything resembling a positive way - their one and only post to date was a threat designed to intimidate a bearish poster.

That is despicable and a threat to my own personal freedom to speak my mind here.
And yours, too, I might add.

>>How would you respond to allegations that your CEO takes 51 weeks vacation, has misappropriated funds, has illegally rewarded his son, has taken kickbacks etc, repeated daily?<<

As a CEO, you laugh it away. You take the higher ground. You tell yourself that as a CEO you must develop a thick skin. You tell yourself there's alway some kooks among the shareholders. You tell your IR person to contact this kook and see if the problem can be resolved through dialogue.

YOU DO NOT TAKE LEGAL ACTION!! YOU TRY AND PRESERVE THE FREEDOM OF FREE SPEECH UNTIL IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO DO SO!

>>They can show what they have done, but how do you demonstrate things you have not done?<<

What has this management done???? Form the stock chart, I see the stock price started in 1995 around $1.50, and except for the brief period in early 1995 when it soared to $4.25 (where I guess you fans here bought the stock), the stock had done nothing except to go down!

>>Tell me, how would you defend yourself if someone called you a liar and a cheat? Seriously, how would you defend yourself? I'd like to see your answer.<<

Some of us here have already answered you. It's just that we're not getting through to you. That's what happens when you buy a penny stock and hope against hope pray for it to go up!

OK, here are the answers again, and I'll go reeaaally sslooow tthiiss timme.

1. John may have libel the company.
2. But you can tell from this careless postings, this is how the guy is.... a kook of a shareholder.
3. As a CEO, paid big bucks, accustomed to shareholders who are kooks,
you take the high road, and ask your IR guy to talk to this guy, and try and resolve it.

4. You do not use the ultimate weapon of a libel suit if you can help it.

Got it? If you want me to repeat these answers again and again, no problem!

>>As a shareholder my investment is being attacked by John. I hope Antares manages to stifle his nonsense.<<

Most of the SI threads, the fans can stifle a disgruntled shareholder's nonsense. You guys can't. So, you run to papa!!

>>Some have asked where the $21 million has gone. That's a legitimate question. Antares provides the answer on page 6 of their Annual Report. I posted the numbers earlier. It is certainly no secret.<<

No, its no secret... more tries.. more drilling... That's the beauty of junior exploration companies... they can keep coming up empty and fans like yourselves will continue to pour money in and hope against hope.

>>All in all I have far more faith in Antares management than in some faceless typist on SI, particularly since Antares appears to be doing all the right things to turn Antares from a junior exploration company into a mid-sized producer. That does not happen overnight or without large expenditures.

Take a look at the chart!!! It's now coming to 5 years... not overnight. LOL!!!

>>Neither John nor anyone else has answered Wayne's question as to what they would have Antares do to move the company forward more than has been done in the last year and a half.<<

That's not our job! That's management's job to move the company forward. Our job is to ride their ass when they can't do what we pay them to do. Or, we sell our stock!.

You can't seem to understand all this can you?
