Investor Zero, aka Stock-turkey boy.
RE:"How about them yields. You think they are going well?
Consider this, if the K6-2 costs $30-$35 and are sold to IBM at less than cost, what will the ASP for AMD be. Better hope IBM doesn't sell too many of these, it will cause AMD to lose even more and the creditors will auction off parts of AMD and the stock price will go to $2."

Yields are "good" and as usual have gotten better particularly on the faster speed grades.
"IF" chips are sold to IBM at less than cost, I don't know anything about it. The fact that IBM isn't going to FAB chips for AMD AND is going to 400MHz in the 4th quarter on the K6-2, ought to go a long way in telling you how good AMDs yields are...especially at higher speed grades. On the other hand, I suspect you are now a closet AMD stock holder. <G>
Man, I feel sorry for anyone who shorted Cisco at $50...nudge nudge <G>
