I've just returned from some quality time away. This is one reason that I have not contributed since the halt was ended. I see that some people posting on this thread are getting quite anxious. A stock of this small size can be driven one way or the other with little problem. There are those, as ever who are interested in bashing it and others seem concerned with getting it higher. Whilst you are all doing this maybe the management are just getting on with running their business, with the knowledge that frankly, whatever is said on SI in the scheme of things really dosn't matter!, if they even know what SI is!! The Canadian rights alone are colossal in this business. At the end of the day Roper has come up with money to help to cement the deal with SEE and have not had to do it from the market. You can see this if you watch the way the stock has traded. This company, in my opinion has embarked on a solid venture, has satisfied two months of the ASE's surveillance dept and come out of it. Do you think that if the debentures were improper it would have gone unnoticed? Do you think that any other wrongdoing has gone unnoticed by the ASE? I would say that Roper has handled it's business so far very well. Roper is on it's way to becoming a very solid company that may get everything right or may get everything wrong, from here, but all the ingredients are there for us shareholders to stand a good chance of doing very well out of our investment. If you don't like the way Roper runs it's business, get out! If you are a believer good for you, for having put your money where your brain/heart tells you! Have any of you taken the time to speak to Rick Watson about your concerns. I have suggested this before on several occasions. Did anyone do it? His number is (604) 266 9910, or Toll free 1-800-661-0091. Let us know how you get on especially if you learn anything negative to the company, please. Best regards. DR
