david--

.21 micron wont be deployed till next year, or at least it wont have any real effect on costs. so, maybe next spring is the time to go long MU...that seems to be when cost savings will really be realized. it kind of reminds me of late 96, or early 97...and we all know what happened during the summer of 97<G>. so, maybe in feb or march 99 it will be good to go long MU.

as for 64Mb, one wonders how long those prices will hold. they are already too high, and the asians are dropping 16 Mb production all together. and they seem to have finally learned to make die shrinks<G>.

good luck to all,
trey

david, kick that shiny star this way - i need all i can get. are you saying that mu loses less money this q from operations? or, are you just saying a lot and meaning nothing? cut to the chase. ;-)

i bet they lose as much or more this q from operations. i also bet their cash flow is whacked for at least another $200 million.

some positives have definitely happened. kind of like getting a glass of ice water in hell ;-) listening to you, though, one would think that glass of ice water just froze hell over ;-) NOT! it's still awful hot ;-)
