I note Yauger's caveat. Can you explain why those neat cycles mean a continuing downtrend. Couldn't the price just as easily reverse. Must be missing something. E

Hi Tom, haven't taken out the lows on the XAU yet so I'm sticking with my buy signal. IMHO time cycles are just one part of the equation and can't be relied on solely.

Among other major sell signals on the equities - - - another one came today.

On the NYSE the 20 dma crossed the 50 dma. I usually see kersplatts when that happens. Also n225 crossed 50 dma. Asia round III?
