No Alan, it is you who don't understand. There is no difference whether John's comment was directed at a person or at the company.. libel is libel. Also, Dennis is not threatening to sue John personally, Antares is. It's pedant to argue as if there is a difference. How do you know the details of the suit........ If it happens do you feel Dennis will not be a part of it........ Antares statement; which includes defamatory and libellous statements about Dennis Gray, our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. These statements are false, misleading and malicious and were clearly made with the intent to harm Mr. Gray's reputation, leaving both Antares and Mr. Gray with no alternative but to commence legal proceedings against "john" to put an end to this conduct. A chat group is not a daily newspaper. Big difference! One is professional, the other is evolving, where laws have not yet been tested. Again, you're missing the point. Try reading the terms of use............... 3. As a CEO of the company under attack, you take the high road, and resolve libel problems without using the ultimate weapon of using corporate funds to sue an individual. How do you not know that high road as you put it was not taken........ and who are you to dictate company policy................. They will just consist of fans like yourself singing praises of management all the time Well that was a false statement, if you have read any of my post's you will find that is not the case with me, the big difference is that I back it up with facts not a bunch of hot air..............
