Intel R&D info........................

Don't know it this is news, I lurk here infrequently and haven't been keeping up with the board..

An acquaintance who works at the Aloha, OR Intel R&D division ( not a janitor, he DOES R&D ) mentioned to me yesterday that INTC was "pulling in" 0.18 by six months, meaning advancing the transition. We were discussing photolithography in general, and Cymer was not brought up, though he said they were ( obviously ) already using DUV.

Hope this helps, I'm not a rumourmonger, just own some CYMI..
