Monty,

I never try to second-guess things... although I will use second-guessing in the thought processes in reviewing market situations. But to try to do that with the press is a little beyond the pale. Give me TA every time!

PS I have seen stocks and indices many times bounce on and then break through the 200 day ma then turn around and move up. That is why many traders use a trading band around the 200 - say 1 - 3% to avoid false signals.
