<However the operators were not quite the best, and they sanded up..>
It is my understanding the problem with the 3 wells were due to completion problems(info from Tower's geologist),not production problems. They weren't able to complete the wells properly due to the sands. They must have figured after three attempts, it was time to give up. Hopefully with the advancement of technology (drilling muds) the new drilling and completion contractor will have better luck..three strikes and they were out..DD
PS, obviously, the weren't producing "handily" enough to be economical.

pop: I think the problem had to do with the drilling back then.
I think that there has been some new methods that have become available that will solve the problem, they had.
The JV partner, as I understand the direction of the deal, is the one that is going to be doing the drilling.
I keep guessing that it will be someone that is already in the area, because I think that someone like that would be familiar with the problems, and know what has to be done, since they would have already encountered similar problems,. (I would imagine)

I guess we'll have to leave it to the "experts" though.
I certainly am not going to tell anybody how to drill a well. LOL
