Caroline,

I have used Regal for years, and generally have been happy with them - but their internet access Command Line is inexorably slow and inaccurate. It shows positions in my account which have been closed out long ago, it shows duplicate orders, it takes forever for Regal to update the account information, and then the update is often inaccurate. So I am constantly calling the trading desk or customer service to verify that what I see as errors are in fact errors. For instance, if I place an order to buy 400 shares of XYZ and then check order status in Command Line and find two orders listed to buy 400 shares of XYZ, I feel compelled to call the trading desk to make sure they only see one order.

Regal's competitors seem to be able to provide quick, accurate, user friendly internet access for their customers - and often at less expense. I am looking into alternatives to Regal.
