MB:
A tip of the Earlie hockey helmet to Eric and to Barrons. Nice to have a well publicized commentary that reiterates the evidence that has, as you note in your posting, been well aired here and elsewhere on the web.

I loved the recently published charts from the Semi manufacturers' own association. One shows world-wide inventories. It looks like an F16 climbing on afterburner. The other shows world-wide pricing. It has the trajectory of an aerodynamic brick.

Best, Earlie

Mike, what's your current plan on PAGE?

According to their latest restructuring
plan, by mid '99, their annual eps run rate
should be about $1/share and much more than
that in free cash flow. Is it realistic?

Amir

Mike, it's interesting that so many chip
companies, including Adaptec, suffered
from your "Ford Escort principal".
I think you gave this example to one
of the Atmel bulls over two years ago.
(A truck may be the ideal vehicle for
hauling lawn mowers but that would
change a lot if Escort price drops
to 5 bucks.)
