Wouldn't invest in Texaco. they are too big, too slow, too many asses in too many seats. (I can see you being a part of the "family".) Our indications are that they are acquiring these technologies and have decided to obtain the "bottoms" part from Rentech. I will concede that that isn't all the company does all day, but failure to finalize with Rentech will be a small sign that Texaco is an outdated company on that slow slide to oblivion. Getting the Rentech deal will be one small sign that they are interested in surviving into the 21st century. They must have at least a 47th VP of restroom mops who has been assigned to be interested in this.

Texaco is my source.

but for anyone to tell you that RNTK shows up on the TX radar screen is purely BS.

Well Dave,

The size ratios are about right, and you are correct in assuming that the RNTK deal isn't coming up at the board of directors meetings...but, deals are done all though the company. At some level folks in TX know about RNTK.

The real question is do they care? With energy prices at these levels, why spend the money on alternatives now? I've been reading/hearing about the disappearance of oil for 20 years now... alternative reclamation technologies my be viable in the near future.. maybe.
