kory, this is my last post on the subject. you are right that one could pick apart the income statement and include what one wants to. of course increased sales expense has nothing to do with increased sales ;-) of course, management that decides to increase income taxes so the ceo can kick it by the beach doen't impact the business ;-) oh and we should be able to expect 5-6% increases in eps every year due to investing cash for eternity ;-)

what we can agree on is that gtw, lumping everything together, earned about 6% eps growth. we just disagree on the future. no need to debate now. the future will be here soon enough.

as for all my stocks being 10 baggers, i didn't say that. i said could be. they also could be bankrupt or 5 baggers or flat. i'll let you know in 5 years as that is when i'll find out. ;-)

however, buying a business with lots of potential inexpensively will, i believe, outperform buying a good business that has already had its growth spurt over time. of course, i assume diversification.

btw, i was glad to see the insanity stop on gtw. this stock was $45 with expectations of $0.43 and it was nearly $60 after dissappointing ;-) kind of like amat being $13 or so when they were earning about 20 cents and now they are about $35 and are set up to earn much less - or lose money.

but, that is bull logic ;-) can't fight it so i'll live with it.

hey, i'd value mu at maybe $1-2 billion - and view it as a pure speculation.
