Guess I misunderstood your previous comment. Thought you were saying not only the comment cited seemed strange but that his comments usually are strange. O.K. with me if anyone believes defense spending has not gone down as a result of the breakup of the Soviet Union. O.K. with me if anyone thinks fixed income and equities have no interrelationship. O.K. with me if the, "sky is falling crowd," is different than, "the stocks will fall crowd." I was just interested in what that difference was. I don't think Cramer was trying to prove he was a great historian or an expert on communism. He was at a dinner, one has seconds to make a point and make it memorable. I sure Cramer does not need me to defend him. I would expect that most readers, including you, fully understood his point. Perhaps we can argue or agree on something more meaningful in the future.
