Frostie: A Day Trading beginner will have to learn alot of hard lessons in the market. The best way to learn is to use a small amount of money to begin. If you prove to yourself that you have the skill and the perseverance to continue you can increase the amount traded later. To start I would recommend a minimum of 20,000 - 50,000. Remember though that 90 % of those who try Day Trading fail.
