It's not can, it's when!<g> In Brussels we have some very close friends of ours (i'm godfather to one of my friend's kids) and they just bought a BIG house.

FWIW My field of "european tourism" specialty covers the Black Forest+Alsace and, also, various parts of Spain.

Lived in Den Haag for two years, and got used to frites with mayo (frite sauce as they call it). Let me tell you, though, you lay out on a North Sea beach on a rare nice summer day, and the last thing you will think about is the frites "-)
