t Jesus was not recognized during his own lifetime as a hugely famous person, and that he did not have thousands of people watching and chronicling his every move, or standing around while he died on the cross. He was treated as a common criminal by the Romans.

His insignificance surely explains why a religion centering around him conquered the entire Pantheon of Rome. It's fascinating how you say that Christ's life wasn't chronicled. Apparently you haven't discovered the numerous historical writings of his followers. First person witnesses are quite valuable as sources of historical evidence.
