RE: My post 12643 re: gold. Panic, etc. Don't forget the late '70's when we all waited in line for gas. There was lots of gas. But there was panic anyway. I think people will panic and hard asset values will go through the roof. It's not the reality, although the reality of y2k is very real -- it's the perception. So in this case it will be both. Double whammy!
