Much of what you say is true.This is indeed unfortunate.I would point out that if Clinton perjured himself in the Monica case[and I believe he did]he was lying about a consensual affair.We are not talking O.J. here.Perhaps one of the changes you suggest should be a distinction between cases like these.To the people on this thread perjury is perjury end of discussion.Some of the consequences you out line are a result of this attitude.
