Kory, when did you go long on GTW? I have been long since 1-5-96 and thus far have no regrets, though i damn near sold when it hit 67 but wasn't nimble enough to write some covered call options. jes

Kory, GTW stopped growing about two years
ago. Last good eps report was in Q496 when
Gateway 2000 made over 60 cents. Around the
same time, cheap PCs started to gain momentum.

One thing that I find really amazing, is that
regerdless to very poor fundamentals, this
bowow managed to rise from around $25/share
split adjusted when earnings peaked 18 months
ago, to $68/share recently.

As you know, markets do make mistakes. Few
recent examples include: Prestek (down 90%),
Boston Chicken (down 98%), NETM (down 95%),
NSCP (down 80%) etc. GTW is ready to join
this group very soon.
